Meet Joe

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and the Economics of Finance from the University of Southern California on full academic scholarship. While at USC, I founded and successfully operated my first business; in which I created and curated social gatherings and community events tailored to diverse social experiences. I grew this business to a valuation of $750,000 before I turned 25.

From there I continued to found and run businesses, including a brick-and-mortar electronics repair store, and an ERISA compliant Health and Wellness business. I also served as a leader and facilitator for leadership, personal growth, and development workshops starting in my Junior year of university, and throughout all of the following years in LA, making a difference in the lives of thousands of people.

In 2017, I returned to Kansas City to be closer to family and have since worked within our family-owned pest control business, which has been proudly serving the Mission community for more than 35 years. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology to further my commitment to service and community well-being.

Over the past several years I’ve assisted local homeowners and real estate investors in appealing property tax assessments, helping ensure fairness and transparency. I also serve as Vice President of Produce for People, a local nonprofit that provides food to families in need.

My strong leadership background, entrepreneurial experience, and long-standing commitment to our community have equipped me with the skills, perspective, and dedication needed to effectively serve on City Council. Here, he met his wife Chelsey, a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner, and they now have two sons.

I care deeply about the city of Mission, and I view city council as a duty and public service.
